Remedy, manually bend gate bridge (vertical plane) to where plastic retainers to not touch gate switch. Door is likely settling.

Elevator 8 is the service elevator, front and rear.
Elevator 9 turned over on construction permit. No NTS N1's or U1's, acceleration and deceleration rate at 0.9.

Print a warning about the CW oilier striking the motor during buffer test.
Elevator 8 had so many initial issues I decided to start logging a few. So many more than simply these though:
Counterweight oilier will strike machine during buffer test, remove before and replace afterwards. Run-by is already code minimum of 6" on the money.
Counterweight buffer strike threw a rope, upon investigation appears that even though the rope guards were touching the ropes, previous damage had bent a guard. The guard was flared at the bottom allowing a perfect storm slide-through point.
The final limit cam had 1/16" clearance from the halo (horizontal plane), proved not enough during buffer test (wind factor + jump = collision). Remedy, rework cam and force it to hug the car frame, 1/2" clearance now. Same with the ETSL/NTS U1 magnet, flipped bracket upside down to provide an additional 5-1/4" of clearance. Moved ETSL and NTS U1 switched accordingly.
Bottom ETSL had one reed switch which would not reset at times, allowed running on cartop until top ETSL switches were triggered, hard stop, needed to drop through escape hatch and bypass ETSL's until the culprit was found and remedied.
Had a hard 65 fault, access switch is temperamental and may need to be replaced eventually.
Bottom terminal unlocking device flag was broken, part taken from Elevator 11.
Counterweight guard bent beyond repair (rippled) due to a scaffolding plank coming down the hoistway. Damaged guard will strike car and weight-stack, part taken from Elevator 11.
No wiring had been run for the brake proximity switch, utilized 5 spare wires out of the 19-conductor motor run.
Numerous wiring mistakes at the harmonized controller.
Front and rear car, cartop positioned to provide clutches with equal clearance which is only 3/32" in various locations, unnervingly tight for floating rollers.
Front and rear are reversed from original layouts due to building alterations. As-build submitted, all floor markings, boards and door operators flipped to match building.
Duct cover was not cut or installed
Fan was crushed
B30 cigar switch was not installed, nor on site. Only 3 of 7 magnet brackets on site. Ended up modifying and using one bracket, moving the 77:N magnet to it and placing all B30 magnets on the King rail.
Counterweight oiliers were smashed in and filled with sand, replaced.
Drive parameters changed from defaults, a few examples weight set to 1000kg, running speed decreased, torque scaling, ETC...someone who did not know what they were doing had been in here.
